Wingstop Cajun Fried Corn
Copycat Wingstop Cajun fried corn! Part 2 of making Wingstop at home! Stay tuned for the recipes: twice-fried fries and ranch.
Ingredients:
Four ears of corn
Butter sauce:
One stick of butter melted
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp Tony’s seasoning
Two garlic cloves, minced
1/2 of lemon, juiced
Two teaspoons parsley, parsley
Toppings:
Grated Parmesan
Vegetable Oil for frying
Directions:
Cut corn into pieces (see video for reference). Set aside.
In a small bowl, combine all ingredients for butter sauce. Set aside.
In a cast iron or other skillet, fill with oil about halfway.
Heat oil over medium to high heat and add corn.
Cook on one side for two minutes. Flip after two minutes. (Cook for 3-4 minutes in total)
Remove corn from skillet and add to butter sauce.
Mix until corn is coated well.
Toss corn pieces in Parmesan and enjoy!
